I love this print.
I love this print.
I just knew it would be perfect in my freshly painted Soothing Green Tea (thank you, Glidden, for this color) kitchen. The stairs to our family room and the wall above the stairs are in our kitchen. This wall was just perfect for Seeking Happiness. I may or may not have stalked it's arrival on the UPS tracking site. Maybe even several times a day.
Today it arrived. I couldn't wait to open it. Yes, the box seemed large. I assumed Ballard Designs was just thorough with their packing materials. Never mind the fortune I paid to ship it here because it's oversized...surely that extra money was for the extra packing needed to keep it protected, right?
Except that when I peeked inside the box, there was very little packing stuff and a very large print. I mean I knew it would be large, but wasn't expecting HUMUNGOUS. Should have busted out the tape measure, I suppose.
The worst part? I still love it so very much. It would be easier if I hated it, but I love it. I just wish it was like...oh...half the size. Maybe I can find another place to put it in my house, except we have no big walls.
Do you think it would be lovely on the ceiling?
Do you know they have this print at Gordman's? I betcha it's smaller too...
ReplyDeleteUgh! If only we had a Gordman's. SOB.
ReplyDeleteIt is perfectly lovely and worth seeking out in a smaller size. Where is the closest Gordman's?
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely. The ceiling totally makes sense. Or on your garage door?
