Sweet Bee loves to coordinate with Little Sister. "What color is Little Sister's dress, Mama?" Sweet Bee will ask. Armed with the correct color scheme, Sweet Bee will search through her closet to find something in the same color or with the same design. It warms my heart each time and reminds me that she's still very much my little girl...something I know won't last forever. But while it does last? I'm holding on tightly.
Needless to say, when Sweet Bee saw Little Sister trying on her Scoot skirt and tee, she instantly wanted one just like it. I talked her into a dress instead and sketched out a design. Bee was sold and I set to work. She wore it the very first day it was finished. Sometimes she wears it to coordinate with her Baby Sister and sometimes she just can't resist putting it on without Little Sister.
I didn't get any great pictures of the detail in Sweet Bee's dress, but took a few while she played at the Children's Museum.
I love this picture of Bee rocking the shovel in the midst of the rock quarry with all boys. She wasn't a bit intimidated and likely did more work than any boy there...all while looking adorable in her dress and boots. Go Bee!
Love.
Coming soon? Tripets. As soon as Bird laid eyes on Bee's dress, she wanted one of her very own. She's growing up even more quickly, so naturally I said yes!
The Challenge Me skirt challenge is still on! If you'd like me to add you to my list, email me or post in the comments. I'm having so much fun selecting fabric from my stash (and have even stumbled across a few prints that I MUST make for Little Sister...cherry print bubble anyone? Swoon!)
